National museum of Adjara

National museum of Adjara is located in center of Batumi. This museum is one of significant pieces of Georgian cultural heritage.

National museum of Adjara was founded in XX-th century. It was designed by Georgian architect Kote Javakhishvili.

Museum has five sections dedicated to: Georgian, Russian, East, West-European and Soviet culture.

In here you can find paintings of famous Georgian artists Niko Firosmani and Lado Gudiashvili. Besides National museum of Adjara has rich collection of foreign paintings.
