Ujarma

Ujarma fortress was built in Sagarejoy region on right bank or river Yori. It was built as fortification against enemies in III-th century A.D. Here happened one of significant battles fought by Georgian troops led by Vakhtang Gorgasali.

Later there was built monastery complex in the name of Maid Mariam.
