Orta djame

Mosque is located in Batumi. On the front side you can see inscription that it was built in 1866. In ancient history, Batumi was Turkish city for five hundred years. Turkish leaders built three mosques: two were stone and one was made of wood. Only Orta Jame mosque built in XIX century remained intact.
Mosque consists of two storied building and a minaret. You can find it on Kutaisi street.
Today mosque is open for all visitors.
